The ringing of Axel's cell phone reached his ears, just as he had left his last classroom. Thank goodness the teacher didn't hear him. He was too busy lecturing another student about throwing spitballs at the back of someone's head.
"Jeez… Who could be calling me now?" He grumbled as he pulled the device out of his pocket and looked down at the screen.
You have 1 text message from Demyx.
Pressing the "Open" option, his eyes widened at the message that he had received.
Demyx: guess wat? nim n i are goin out!
Axel was quick to find a private place to answer the text message…that is…if he already knew what he was going to say.
Taking in a deep breath, he quickly typed in his reply, making sure not to sound too suspicious.
Axel: u mean nimrod? kudos 2 u but whut is that 2 me?
Demyx: cant u b happier for me? i rly wanted nim 2 go out wit me! DX
Axel: eh…w/e. gtg 2 class. later.
Demyx: fine. later, man.
Hanging up his phone, Axel shoved his hands in his pockets and headed back to class. He was stopped by one of his buddies, Roxas, who rushed over to walk with him.
"Did you get Demyx's text message?" He asked, "About him going out with Nim?"
The red-head rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I got it. I didn't think he'd get the 'Nimrod' as a girlfriend."
Roxas cocked an eyebrow at Axel's unusual attitude but simply dismissed it. "Heh… Well, I guess we should at least support him. I mean, he's happy now that's he's got Nim as a girlfriend. He's liked her for a while."
Axel remained quiet but nodded at his words. He should be happy about their relationship but…the feelings that secretly harbored for Nim hadn't disappeared.
Not even for an instant.

Nim mumbled under her breath as she half-listened to the lecture that was being given. Her blue-eyed gaze turned to the window, where she watched the clouds float in the sky.
She wanted to be with her boyfriend so badly instead of being cooped up in a stuffy classroom, listening to a boring old lecture that didn't even matter to her in the future. Shifting her eyes to make sure no one was paying attention, she took out her cell phone and quickly typed a text message to Demyx.
Nim: hey, i miss u! >3< when can i see u?
Luckily, Demyx was bored and answered to her desperate plea for company.
Demyx: i miss u 2! this class is sooo boring! DX wish we could skip for 1 day
Nim: yeah… me 2. :3
The auburn-haired girl managed to hide her phone before the teacher could spot her. However, he did keep his eye on her until class ended. Once the students filed out of the classroom, Nim took the chance to sneak out from his line of vision.
Demyx was waiting outside the building when she burst through the doors. She ran into his arms and kissed his waiting lips, his arms wrapped tightly around her waist. Their friends strolled out of the school, making kissy faces at the new couple.
Nim only stuck her tongue and giggled before kissing Demyx again. Axel and Roxas began to gag at the romantic gesture, though Axel was only pretending.
Perhaps he would get a chance to tell her the truth…?
