Even as they pulled away, Kali's mind was still in shock. Why on earth would Yōko kiss her? That was the question that repeated in her mind.
Did he want to play around like she had thought? He seemed like it when they were flirting. To be perfectly honest, Kali had been wondering about their relationship anyway. She did like Yōko and enjoy his company. He was a nice, fun guy to hang out with and handsome to boot.
But was that really it?
Judging by how quickly he kissed her, it seemed that he wanted a little more than just friendship. Her own thoughts were beginning to change over this little encounter.
Kali looked into Yōko's eyes and blinked. Her cheeks had changed from whitish-peach to a bright crimson red in a matter of seconds. The silver-haired kitsune felt his ego swell at seeing her expression. He sat up, watching her do the same.
"I'm sure you know what I was trying to say," he said simply.
She shook her head, playing dumb. She was now feeling embarrassed and was doing whatever she could to hide it. "Say? Say what?"
Yōko chuckled. "That I like you."
Her eyes widened. "What?"
His eyes softened, which was rather uncharacteristic of him. "I like you, Kali." There was a light tint of pink on his own cheeks as he said this. "Or...to be more specific...I'm in love with you."
This confession definitely surprised Kali. He loved her?! She didn't expect that. Her jaw dropped, her brain running in circles while trying to register this.
Immediately, her blush got deeper as she averted her eyes. "U-Um... Well, I..."
Yōko cocked an eyebrow, then chuckled again. "What? Did my confession surprise you?" he teased, leaning closer to her. "Or do you not like me?"
The vixen tried to hide her shyness and smiled. "What happens if I do?" she retorted with a purr. "Will you be happy?"
His smile widened. "You should know the answer to that," he whispered, brushing his lips against hers. "But I can show you how happy I am if you want me to~"
Kali giggled flirtatiously. "I think I'd like that."

First off, I would like to say I love the way you had Kali react when Youko confessed to Kali. It's cute and still in character! She's had men confess to her in the past, plenty of times, before her and Aurora were 'fused' together. But since it's Youko it makes all the difference.
Secondly, -small blush- The lemon was well written and I could feel the passion between them. Also I love the way of the virgin Kali you made it. Kali has bedded many men in her past life, but since she basically has a 'new body', it makes sense.
