Well... This is awkward. And here I thought we were all gonna die today at 6. My mom kept making jokes about this supposed "apocalypse day" and even called one of her friends to say "It was nice knowing you." A small part of me started thinking about my last days on earth; guess it can give you a good scare when you think about it.
Everything's pretty boring right now; nothing much happened today or in the past week. Trades and commissions are still open since I'm still pursing my goal of 300 points. Please make your orders or donate~ That would help out a lot.
Sorry that this entry was short. I just wanted to see an update, even if it was boring. xD Over and out!
- Yumi-chan, the pathetic one~
P.S. Lately, I've been trying to create a ship-name for one of the my Canon x OC pairings: Kurama x Lexi. XD I've asked some nice people for ideas and here are the sample names they gave me:
That guy is just crazy and a pain in the ass, frankly. He already wrongly predicted the rapture more than ten years ago I believe...it's pretty hilarious that people would care to take him seriously a second time around too. I had a classmate who was a hardcore Christian and she was probably having a grand old time making fun of him for reading way too much into the bible. P: I'm not religious at all so I wasn't worried about it since the kinds who get into that are the crocks anyway.
It's ridiculous that some people believe him, even though he was wrong in the past. And those who did believe should know better; if they call themselves true Christians, then they would study their Bibles a bit more closely.
Exactly. xD And I'm pretty sure that while a lot of hardcore Christians know their Bible and study it closely, they wouldn't try too hard to read into things and force their ideas/interpretations on other people. Like the Westboro Baptist Church. >.>
I'm glad Camping isn't saying that he made a 'mathematical error' about this failed prediction, too. That would just be ridiculous if he did. >.< And I'm glad that the people who believed realized their mistake.
LOL. I'm glad, too. Maybe these kinds of people should just gracefully step down and recognize they have no business trying to predict things that have been left up to the divine for years. ;3
Don't see why Christians would be willing to believe this hype if in the bible it states that only God knows when the end of the world will come. This man has tried predicting the end of the world before and he was wrong.
I know! And it wasn't that long ago - around 1994, I believe. He, along with others who may have believed in this, definitely missed Matthew 24:36: No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. I wonder how Camping felt when he realized he was wrong...again.
Hey, I know this might be a bit random but were you still okay with the YYH AU story I was thinking about? The one with the dancers?
