The people who went were me, my mom, my sis, and my buddy ~loverofanime13, who only went for one day. We bought a pretty good amount of stuff (I even got some good deals on manga~
Luckily, I was able to get Vic Mignogna, Todd Haberkorn, and Brina Palencia's autographs. They all signed my Hetalia DVD so I'm pretty happy about that~ :3 I also took a picture with Vic's wife/fiance Michele. She was super nice and really pretty. I believe she's a member of the Risembool Rangers, probably the Vice President. xD Vic was sweet enough to take a picture with me and my sister. I looked so derpy in all the photos. Dx
Lots of people loved my sister's costume a lot more than me; I was barely noticed but that won't kill me. |D Little sis went as Alice!Ciel and she looked adorable in it! I hope she wears it again in the future. x3 As for me...I'm totally changing mine to something a little more flashy or more popular. There were a lot of Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler cosplayers, especially Sebby and Ciel. So many of 'em... ; A ; Another good thing about this convention was that I got to meet three dA artists there! *Lavender-Ice, *MoogleGurl, and *celesse! I even got a picture with Lavender-Ice and MoogleGurl and they were so nice! I kept going back to Lavender-Ice's booth, though. I'm sure she got tired of me after a while. xD
And that was how my weekend went~ I can't wait for next year!
Commissions and trades are open again! Feel free to swamp me~ 8D

Well, that's all for now! Thanks again for reading and have a great day/night!

P.S. Forgot to mention this to y'all. I got two lovely pictures from *Lavender-Ice at the AWA - one of them being my cute OC Lexi: Picture Would anyone be sweet enough to color it for me and send me the finished product? :3

Iv'e noticed Kuroshitsuji/Black butler is really popular at the moment
It's also really cool that you got to meet a bunch of dA artists - I always wondered how many of them head out to cons. I'm in the minority since I don't go often...err, at all.
Still though, I'd have to say it was money well spent, especially with all of the autographs and such you got. Luuucky~!
So did I. I can't believe I saw three of them. Well, I know *celesse comes to the AWA a lot - that's no real surprise to me - but I'm really surprised that =Lavender-Ice and *MoogleGurl showed up. That was a blessing in disguise since they're pretty famous on dA!
Heck yeah it was money well spent. Bought m'self four manga, some snacks, and some trinkets!
That's super awesome, yo! It makes me wish that I lived close to a hotspot for cons, a big city like LA sees so much traffic I'm sure it's ridiculous! It would also be fun to visit artist's stands and get to know them on a more personal level instead of just across the screen.
Aww yeahhh! Snacks + manga = a good time for sure. I actually haven't gotten any since...damn...probably when I started buying my Yugioh collection. xP But yes! Voice actor autographs are HARDCORE. One day it's my dream to meet Chuck Huber and/or get his autograph, lol~ And awww, thank you~! I'm so excited!
Aw, man. It would be killer if I could live in LA; I'd be a California girl! 8D The best part would be the great weather, despite the earthquakes and wildfires. Dx I would love to meet more artists in the future. I wouldn't mind making a friend or two that I can actually see~ :3
Makes you just wanna sing~
Psssh. Earthquakes and I are bros - living on a tropical island you sort of get used to them. Same goes with wildfires, although that would really suck. But LA is like, one of the hubs of cool so I bet it'd be hella fun to live there even if you had to make a life out of ramen and tv dinners.
I know, I know, but I'm a rotten person and if I want to read manga I always do it online. D: Plus I haven't been into anime lately. Maybe it'll change soon. And yeeees. I'd want to hug him because I felt so bad after his heart surgery. Also, I didn't change my email address so it's all good on your end.
I didn't know Guam would have a lot of earthquakes and wildfires but then again, it is an island. I'm sure it would be fun. A lot of well-known places in L.A. and Hollywood, I believe, is not too far away. You'd be near celebrities~
But it's much better when you have it in your hand. D:I know what you mean. The golden opportunity to read free manga is too good to pass up! I do hope you can get back into anime. There are so many good ones out there! We just have to find 'em. x3 Oh, yeah. I had almost forgot about his surgery. I hope he's completely recovered. Ah, okay. Well, I sent the email. My email address now is berry-lolita357@hotmail.com. :3I knowww. I'm awful at buying manga. But the up side to viewing it online is that you can keep up to date really often, instead of waiting for magazines to translate and publish them with a subscription fee and all that. But yeah, anime is still cool in my book but I'm a slut and jump from fandom to fandom alll the time.
ALSO: I got the picture. O.M.G. I literally died when I saw it, it's just - so damn cuuuute! I can't believe you got that for me, you're the sweetest ever! It's saved on my computer now and I can't stop squeeing when looking at it!!! So thank you thank you THANK YOU. I'm in loooove. <333
True. The only risk that I can think of, however, is the online manga website closing down and deleting all the manga...unless you can download it and save it to your computer. I just buy manga to collect them and read them whenever my Internet shuts down or something. xD LOL, there's nothing bad in fandom-jumping. You're just broadening your horizon.
Aww, no problem!
