Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Back from Florida~ 83

_{Hello everyone and thanks for reading! I just came back from Florida; we left Friday morning and the car ride was much shorter going back rather than going to Florida! I wish I knew why that is. xD

Other than that, I had an awesome time in Florida! I'm so glad that I got to visit my dad's family since it's been two years since I've seen them. The only person from my dad's family that wasn't there was one of my uncles, which sucked since my dad's so close to him. D:

Along with my grandparents, I saw both my aunts and their families. It was awkward since I was the only person my age that was there. The only other teen besides my sister and myself was my cousin who's 15. She and her little sister - who's 12 and much taller than all three of us - are so precious; I love them to bits! :3

Lastly, I met my cousin for the second time as well as her new husband and her children. They are too cute and I just loved holding them. I shot a picture of the youngest one - she had a bedhead at the time but I didn't mind at all. Made her look ten times cuter~ |D

I shot more photos with my iPod but I took them mostly at SeaWorld, Disney World, and Daytona Beach. If anyone would like to see those pics, then send me a note and I'll send you them. :3 I also taped some of the rides at Disney and one at SeaWorld. Hopefully, I can send everyone the links if I can upload them to YouTube~

Anyway, now that I'm back, I need to worry about college and such. I'm anxious to get some kind of word from my destined college. I was supposed to get an acceptance letter, or a letter of decline, by now. I'm so nervous that I'll be rejected again. ; A ; Really hoping I get into college this fall...

Commissions and trades are still closed for the time being...or at least 'till I finish the ones in my to-do list. I owed those wonderful people their fanfics and I don't want to keep them waiting any longer. So sorry for the delay! Dx But I promise that once I reopen, you guys can swamp me as much as you want. |D
