Happy (Early) Thanksgiving! <3

Journal Entry: Sun Nov 20, 2011, 11:40 AM
Hello everyone and thanks for reading! Hope you guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving week! Mine probably won't be as interesting since I think both my parents have to work on Thanksgiving Day. But I'm hopeful that it'll be full of anime marathon after marathon; no classes on Wednesday to Friday~ |D

Things have calmed down here at home, with the occasional, little spats between me and my parents. I wish to thank all of the wonderful people who commented on my last journal entry. I deeply appreciate the words of kindness as well as the constructive advice. Thank you, thank you, a thousand times thank you!!! It's always nice to know that I have good friends who will support me. :D However, I want you guys to know that I want to be here for you as well. If there's something going on, then please tell me. I'm more than happy to listen and give my own advice. <3

Finals are coming up and I'm exhausted from all this constant studying. I'm not giving up, though! :la: There are some times, though, where I feel like I'm not remembering any of the material. Is that normal for any student or is it just me? Either way, I'm making sure to memorize what I've written in my notes. I hope my studying will pay off and I pass all my courses. I'm still way nervous about it all... ; w ;

Another thing that I've been meaning to bring up...I got my blood analysis test done! :la: The results are pretty "normal" from my point of view. The guy who did the test said that all I needed to do was to change my diet and drink about 1-2 bottles of water a day. As for the hair loss, I'm thinking it's due to stress and my mom's friend told me that I should try to get more "me time" in order to reduce it. That'll be easy to do...

Commissions and trades are still open, folks! I might be a little late in dishing them out because of school, though, so I hope you can bear with me. >.< But I am thankful to those who have commissioned me so many times before. As of this month, I've been commissioned over 120 times! That is amazing in my opinion! o: I hope I can lots more in the following year!

People I Plan To Commission/Owe Commission Points To [If they're open... |D]

- :iconnaiconiku: - 560 :points: for a normal headshot

- :iconrinzeruuu: - 160 :points: for a chibi couple picture

- :iconashita-no-hikari: - 200 :points: for a chibi

- :iconblackstorm: - 100 :points: for a headshot

Total: 1020 :points:

Well, that's all for now! Thanks again for reading and have a great day/night!

"What the...? Who the bloody hell...?"

A begrudging England awoke from his supposedly relaxing nap when he heard the sounds of yapping, followed by a series of rapid knocking, just outside his front door. He grumbled to himself as he trudged to the door.

When he opened the door, he muttered out an angry "What do you want?". In front of him was his little brother America...with a new pet. A poodle, to be exact. And it was especially fluffy.

"...Question. What is that...?"

"Hoho~ You like him? I got him from France! I think I'm gonn

She loved the way he yelled and patronized her for being too quiet and polite.

She loved the way he saw her as a person and not just a noblewoman.

She loved the way he walked like a peacock, proudly strutting his feathers.

She loved the way his gentle hands touched her head whenever he was proud of her.

Happy Birthday America"I love my freedom; I love my America." - Jessi Lane Adams

Today was America's birthday, the Fourth of July, or Independence Day in the United States. None of his friends knew how old he was, nor did they want to know. The number would be much too high to comprehend, even though he was young compared to the older nations.

America had invited the nations to come to his house for a birthday extravaganza. He was known for those wild parties he loved to throw, full of junk food and loud music. England, America's older brother, usually complained about the craziness and the "disgusting food" that he cooked but he let it slide for this occasion.

Y'know, my friend and I were just talking about break! xD I was annoyed because I only have Wed-Friday off while kids in the next state over have been out for over a week already. Lucky bastards. Meanwhile I'm slaving over hot assignments...jeez...but an anime marathon sounds like so much fun! I actually started re-reading the Naruto manga so I'm on that kick again....damn it, hahaha...

I'm really glad that things have settled down with your parents. I know living with someone in such close proximity can really get to pushing buttons; I'm not always on the best of terms with mine but I try to be because we currently have a problem child living with us and he causes enough trouble for the both of us. But, coexisting is the best possible way to keep going and I'm glad you have such a positive attitude. :3

Finals are starting for me in the beginning of December. Only one of them is cumulative so I think I'll be okay. But don't think you're the only one who can't retain information - it's a lot to memorize between all these classes so I think there's going to be some struggle in soaking it all in. Just try to follow those tips I suggested. Pneumonics, studying before sleeping, reviewing over the same info over the course of the week...yep. Just got to juggle all of that and incorporating new stuff so it all pieces together.

I'm so happy your test results are also normal!!! I was wondering what was going on with that. So, now that the major things are out of the way, I would be sure to follow the suggestions as well as try to squeeze in that elusive "me time". You definitely need it with all the crap that's been going on to bring you down. Hopefully this break you'll set some time aside for yourself and get into relaxed mode~

LOL, yeah, I know. Why can't we have a week off, too, like everyone else? Something needs to change in the education system. :/ Coolio~ I'm sure that would be a blast to rewatch Naruto all over again. I remember doing that for one Thanksgiving. XD

Things are a bit iffy still but for the most part, it's calmed down. My mom's trying to take my computer away for good so I'm planning to just buy my own if I can find a job. I'm also thinking of going to an out-of-state college if I can get in. It'd probably be the best medicine for us both if I could be away from home, though I would be okay with in-state, too. As long as I can drive myself. |D I didn't know you had a "problem child" living with you. o:

Yes, I'm trying those little tips. I remember falling to sleep trying to memorize my Psych info. I also did that with math and I'm just praying that I pass my English final. That class has been more than difficult. But I do hope that you can pass your finals. Hang in there, Moni! :3

Man, I am really happy, too. I'm so glad it wasn't cancer~ :la: It would be great if my skin healed before the Christmas season, even though that would be a lot of work. |3 Holy crap, I would love me time. I just need to learn how to drive. ; w ; You need me time, too!
