Unfortunately, my mom has to work for Mother's Day so we celebrated on Friday. My dad bought her a bouquet of red roses, even though she told him not to, and a pretty, yummy-looking cake that I hope we get to eat today.
Last week wasn't too exciting so nothing much to report about what's going on in my boring life. xD I'm currently searching for more scholarships to apply for and so far, I've found a couple. Most of them are for people going into hard sciences or business and for high school seniors. Hopefully, I can win at least one of the scholarships I've applied for. That would be great. *crosses fingers* One of them is a contest that you enter your name to win a $10,000 scholarship, but I'm a little weary on that one, even though the offer is soooo tempting. I'll hold off on it until I can get more info on it.
Even though my mom blatantly refused to drive me to and from the campus, she's insisting that I stay at home. It's frustrating me since I'm trying to tell her to allow me to get driving lessons this summer but she says I have to get a car first before learning how to drive. Now, I'm stuck in a rut and I'm not sure how to get out of it without blowing up. TT^TT I'm also looking for driving classes and maybe my mom will reconsider if I keep asking. I just hope this can be settled soon...
Anyway, my point commissions and trades are still open but PayPal commissions are still down. Forgive me for taking so long! D: Thank for all who have been giving me business as of lately! I'm most appreciative.
Well, that's all for now! Thanks again for reading and have a great day/night!

If your ma is kinda uptight about money, I don't see why she would ask you to get a car first. o.o
Anyway, I'm glad your mother's day went so well, it sounded like fun. My dad bought my mom red roses too. XD But to celebrate we watched Avengers and ate out, it was sweeeeet.
Also, the issue with cars and driving is frustrating. Having to get a job to buy a car to learn how to drive to get a job...vicious circle, it's pretty annoying. Hopefully your mom will reconsider your offer and you'll be able to take those lessons since driving back and forth to campus just sounds so inconvenient and a pain.
Haha, I guess you could say it was. |D Coolio! What a coincidence! 8D Did your mom like them more than my mom "did" (since she said she didn't want any but liked them anyway)? And that must have been fun. I'm sure you all enjoyed the food and the movie. xD
Ugh, it is. My mom is sort of considering it now but I'm also looking for online classes so she doesn't have to take me out of the house. The thing is...she's not budging 'cause she doesn't think there are legitimate sites that can allow me to take driver's ed and get a license. I know I'll have to have hands-on experience but the learning part shouldn't require me to go to a classroom.
That sounds like a rough situation. I wish there were more options for you especially with how restrictive your parents can be. :/ In my state all you have to do is take a written test that you get a booklet to study for, and if you're under 18 you need to log 50 hours of driving time with someone who's a legal adult. But if you're over 18 all you have to do is go on the road with the driving instructor so they can grade you - that's what I did. It's a lot easier, for me, than taking the driver's ed class here because that required extra funds and it was a lot more work in the class than if you just spent the summer practicing like I did...sigh. Well, I hope you find a solution that everyone can agree to!
LOL, thanks! I hope I can find a good solution, too! >w< I think that's what my state does, except it's 40 hours instead of 50. I'm planning to take driver's ed this summer so I can practice and hopefully get my license soon. The driving school I'm looking at is expensive, though, which is another setback. Was it expensive for you?
