When French Poodles Attack"The average dog is a nicer person than the average person." Andrew A. Rooney
Yapyapyapyapyapyapyap!
"What the...? Who the bloody hell...?"
A begrudging England awoke from his supposedly relaxing nap when he heard the sounds of yapping, followed by a series of rapid knocking, just outside his front door. He grumbled to himself as he trudged to the door.
When he opened the door, he muttered out an angry "What do you want?". In front of him was his little brother America...with a new pet. A poodle, to be exact. And it was especially fluffy.
"...Question. What is that...?"
"Hoho~ You like him? I got him from France! I think I'm gonn

Happy Birthday America"I love my freedom; I love my America." - Jessi Lane Adams
Today was America's birthday, the Fourth of July, or Independence Day in the United States. None of his friends knew how old he was, nor did they want to know. The number would be much too high to comprehend, even though he was young compared to the older nations.
America had invited the nations to come to his house for a birthday extravaganza. He was known for those wild parties he loved to throw, full of junk food and loud music. England, America's older brother, usually complained about the craziness and the "disgusting food" that he cooked but he let it slide for this occasion.

Finals for me are in a little over a week. I'm excited to be done with this semester since some recent news has put some serious stress on me and I need time to fricken breathe from studies and just have time to myself, you know? :3 But, I really do hope that you get through all of yours with flying colors and you successfully complete your first semester, one that you can be proud of
no matter what your parents say. Hoping for the best from you~!Oh, speaking of English. Look at the points as a way of boosting your grade instead of hurting it. God. My sophomore English class, I didn't read it in the syllabus until the VERY last few months, but if you were absent more than three times at the end of the semester he'd drop your whole grade by a letter. I was so freaked out about how many classes I missed I had to go back and count them all, since I needed that A to maintain my scholarship. Luckily I didn't go over the limit and got an A, but that was still so painful. :/ Some policies in college are just...no...
for myselffor my friends. I would love to send you something by mail but I'm sure my mother would have my head for it. But I'm starting to shop online now! 83Mine end on the 13th, I think, but my Psych teacher told me that I could stop going to classes after the 7th. I am pretty happy about that but I love her class so much. I would hate to leave so early. ; w ; But I'm glad that your finals will be over pretty soon. That's good that you can finally relax and kick up your feet.
True but the field that I'm going into, nursing, is a competitive field. I have to make sure I get straight As in order to even be considered a candidate. But that's pretty scary of your teacher to do that. I'm surprised he was even allowed to do it. I'm glad you still got an A in the class; it would suck if you didn't just because of attendance. What a dumb policy to have...
That would be SO bomb. xD Even if I did love that class I would use that time to study for other finals, sleep...or just slack off. Haha! But yeah. Finals don't start until the week after this upcoming one and it shouldn't be too harsh, so I'm just glad that I got through yet another semester. Somehow. Still trying to get as many points possible though.
I understand. I actually commend you for going into nursing; back in junior high and high school I was planning on becoming a doctor but the pressure was so intense. So that's a really big commitment and I'm glad you're taking it so seriously since some people think they can just laze their way through it and get a certificate. Anyway, yeah...that teacher was cool besides that little tidbit. I was just happy I eavesdropped on some fellow classmates and heard them say that, otherwise...dang.
True. That time could be put to good use; I could be doing other
less importantmore important things. XD Good luck on getting full points, or as many points as possible, for those exams! <3 How many final exams do you have during that week? Let's hope it's not a lot. D:I was thinking of being a surgeon until we dissected frogs in middle and high school. Then I changed my mind. XD Nursing seems like a better job for me since I can help people but not have to see too much guts... /shot It's scary to see those kinds of people and I'm sure I'd see them on the floor if I get in. I'm sure there are people who are wondering, "How did those people become nurses?!" LOL. xD Oh, I see. It's a good thing you eavesdropped, too. You learned one of your teach's dirty, little secrets~
Well, I have a cumulative final in my internet class, an exam in astronomy, and an essay/discussion due in drugs&behavior. My psychobiology class is just going to be attending and I'm not sure about P.E., probably just submitting our workout logs or something. Are you taking finals in all of your classes?
Haha! I hated biology and dissecting, only because it's difficult to compare diagrams to the flesh and blood you see in front of you. In my junior year class we spent the last month (since we took our exam early) just doing dissections, working our way up from worms to baby sharks. It was pretty fun because mainly I didn't do any of the actual cutting since we had to work in groups. P: But yeah! I think it's an admirable job, but then again anything in the health care professional takes a lot of guts. And maybe you'll get to be one the wise nurses like on the medical sitcoms who upstages the doctors, lmao.
That's a lot but I've never heard of just "showing up" for an exam for any class. XD And I didn't know colleges had P.E. That seems like such a "high school" sort of class. /shot But yeah, I'm taking finals in all my classes, I think. I just took an exam in Psychology but I'm not sure if my teacher is considered it a "final exam". I'd have to ask to make sure. The next one is in English, which is on the 8th.
Dissecting sharks has become more common in schools...at least I've noticed that lately. I worked on small fish and worms but never a shark. |D Haha, I wish. That would be cool if I could outsmart a doctor, who's had more medical know-ho than me. The best revenge evah!
LOL. Yeah, well my psychobiology teacher hates exams (rightfully so) so she said that we won't have a final, but we are required to go to class and attend that day because it's mandatory...school policy. But, it'll be okay because she's just going to lecture and it's not like I'll have to absorb that new information for a test or something. And yeah, another requirement of my college is PE. But I'm taking an online class where you create your own workout program so it hasn't been that bad; I just think the whole thing is silly. Oh man! I'll be done by the eighth. xD Well then I guess that means more luck to you to survive next week!
Yep, the shark thing was pretty awesome. But then again, the dissections got old after a while and we didn't have to fill out assignments, just following the directions on paper. One time we tried to dissect starfish but I think they were too old because they were all mushy inside, it was pretty disgusting. XD Haha! And yeah, sometimes doctors can be so pompous, and especially interns, treat nurses like they're lesser than them. But nurses have just as much knowledge if not more when dealing one-on-one with patients and practicing the basics so much!
Lucky. I hope I don't have another exam in Psychology; that would be wonderful! Oh, that is so cool! I would like to do that if I had a P.E. class in my school. Haha, thanks. I hope you can get all the R&R you want and I'll make sure to survive so I can join you!
Haha, really? I would feel the same thing if I just dissected with nothing really to do after that. |D I would feel sorry for the interns that are striving to be doctors. From what I've seen
from too much Grey's Anatomy, the doctors or the ones in charge are pretty mean to the interns. D:Oh, and did you hear the latest from FUNimation? :3 (I hope I hadn't told you yet~)
