2 Hearts, One Love - Ch. 7
While the maids continued to try to comfort you, a guard walked into the room. "[Villain 1's Name]-sama wishes to see you, [Your Name]-hime."
The maid with (Put first lady's hair color here.) hair asked, "Do you wish for us to accompany you, [Your Name]-hime?"
"No, I'll be fine," you replied quietly. You got out of bed and went to your closet to get dressed, picking out a emerald green kimono adorned with white and orange flowers.
Once finished, you followed the guard to the throne room. [Villain 1's Name] sat on his throne while [Villain 2's Name] stood beside him, smirking.
"Welcome to my palace, my beautiful princess!" [Villain 1's Name] exclaimed as he stood up.
"I'm... glad to be here..."
[Villain 1's Name] sensed your grief and smirked. "I hope you're not too troubled about your dear mother's sudden death, I needed to get her out of the way." Your eyes widened as he continued, "I did it for a simple reason that you probably already know. So I could take you and [

Loud flurries of screams echoed through the house, startling Yusuke and Kurama. Hurrying from their rooms, they rushed into the kitchen, where their friend Alexa, also known as Lexi, was standing on a chair and shaking tremendously.
"Alexa, what's wrong?" Kurama asked, worried that she might have hurt herself.
The teary-eyed, dark-skinned girl shook on her chair as she pointed a finger to the right. Following her finger, the redhead and Yusuke noticed a brown spider standing in the corner.
Yusuke and Kurama were quiet and stared back at the megane.
Lexi nodded, comedic tears spilling out of her glasses-covered eyes. "I don't know how it got in here! Please! I beg you to kill it! Or at least throw it out!"
Kurama sweatdropped at the girl as he tried to calm her down. "Alexa, there's nothing to worry-"
"I hate spiders!" she screamed, crying even more. "They're icky and gross! Please kill it!"
Yusuke frowned, obviously no

"What the...? Who the bloody hell...?"
A begrudging England awoke from his supposedly relaxing nap when he heard the sounds of yapping, followed by a series of rapid knocking, just outside his front door. He grumbled to himself as he trudged to the door.
When he opened the door, he muttered out an angry "What do you want?". In front of him was his little brother America...with a new pet. A poodle, to be exact. And it was especially fluffy.
"...Question. What is that...?"
"Hoho~ You like him? I got him from France! I think I'm gonna name him Hamburger~"
...He can't be serious...
The blonde, British nation glared down at the small, white dog. It growled and jumped as it bit him on the hand. England let out a pained yell as he tried to shake it off.
"Ah! America, get this bloody mutt off me!"
The megane just chuckled, "Aw, but he likes you! He even left a surprise in th

It seemed like a normal autumn night in the Wammy House. Two of the Wammy housemates, L and Sakura, sat inside eating some bakery-bought fruit tarts.
Sakura had searched for every opportunity to be alone with L; like any other girl, she had a crush on him but he didn't seem to notice. He was too busy hunting down the criminal Kira to even pay attention.
The black-haired detective sat in his chair, quietly munching one of the cherry tarts on his plate. He looked up at Sakura who stared at him dreamily and blinked indifferently.
"Sakura-san. Why are you staring at me?"
"U-Uh...no real reason!" the redhead answered shyly. "I-I was just wondering if I could talk to you...since I never really got a chance to before."
L blinked again with the same indifferent stare. "What is it? I'll have to get to work once you're finished."
Her heart began beating a million times a minute, her

Sakura was thrown to the floor of a frigid, damp, pitch-dark room. She opened her eyes slowly, hearing the killer's repeated fit of laughter.
"I will be successful at last..." he whispered crazily, laughing again to himself. "Today is the day that L will surrender to me! And I'll kill him...!"
His red eyes were lit with psychotic ecstasy. Turning his gaze to the struggling Sakura, he could see her full name as well as her death date above her head. Again, he chuckled when he saw her glare at him.
"Don't think you're getting away with this!" She grabbed his blood-stained shirt collar. "You sick son of a- L will come for me and kill you!"
The dark-haired man licked his lips, annoying Sakura with his crazed laugh. "You shouldn't count on it," he retorted. "L could care less about a little girl like you."
"He does care for me!" she screamed, her fingers

The story behind my little sister June's first love is one of my favorites to hear. It's like watching an old kiddie romance movie - the memory is still fresh in my head...
It started back when we were walking home from school - she was in the sixth grade while I was a sophomore in high school. When I came to pick her up that day, she looked more drained than ever. Assuming she was tired, I merely waved as I ran over to greet her.
"Hey, June! How was school?"
I frowned. "Why do you say that? Did someone say mean things to you?"
June shook her head. "Teach decided to pull a fast one and gave us all some dumb yearlong assignment." She reached into her backpack, pulling out a sheet with a list of her classmates with arrows that matched them with a group of other students.
"Kids from England. We're supposed to be their 'pe

The day of Yukito's visit came by rather quickly. June was more nervous than I had ever expected her to be. When we arrived at the airport that Friday morning, she was shaking in her shoes.
"June? Are you sure you'll be okay?" I asked for what seemed like the umpteenth time. "You look a little pale."
She shook her head again, sighing deeply at my constant questioning. "Really, Sis. I said I'm fine. Don't worry about me."
Thinking it would be best to stop asking, I changed the subject. I turned my brown eyes to the crowd and asked, "So what does he look like again?"
My sister shot me a look. "You should know what he looks like, Sis. He has black hair and blue eyes and there should be a butler standing next to"
"Excuse me. Are you Juniper?"
We both slowly turned to see a boy standing behind us, matching June's description perfectly. He wore a dark blue cashmere sweater and a pair of slacks while

It was a bright summer afternoon by the sea where the mermaids would gather together...but they were all underwater, enjoying their lives and swimming. One mermaid, Akina, played by herself.
She swam through the sapphire-colored sea as she collected seashells and played with the dolphins. Her life was alright, just as normal as the other mermaids...except for one thing. She couldn't speak. That was one thing Akina could, and would, never do. She wanted to sing and talk about the world around her, but her disability took that dream of hers, so she decided to just be content.
A young man by the name of Kyo Ashida stood by the ocean and looked at the beautiful sun as it shone in the sky. He thought of his beloved parents who were killed when he was twelve, and he's lived on his own since then. Kyo picked up a seashell and sighed as he remembered a nostalgic pastime memory.
"Father, look at how many seashells I found!" Ky

A bright, white-golden light almost blinded 16 year-old Yuri. Squinting her wide brown eyes, she smiled as they gradually adjusted to the sun's light.
Surrounding her was a large forest full of colorful flowers and other signs of life. Yuri giggled to herself and knelt down to embrace them. The bright petals tickled her cheeks as if welcoming her with open arms.
"I could stay like this all day," Yuri whispered, holding some of the loose flowers to her bosom.
Being a demon her entire life, she had been engulfed in nothing but darkness and sorrow. She wanted to be free from that darkness once she caught side of a young man during her first trip to the human world.
His light green eyes danced with friendliness when they bumped into one another. Yuri's usually devilish expression turned to curiosity when he had apologized and helped her up.
It had been love at first sight and she had driven herself

"Hurry, Ulquiorra! We'll be late!"
Orihime called her husband from the living room as she tapped her foot. She was impatiently waited for him to finish dressing. Their son Sora stood by his mother's side, holding her hand as he blinked silently.
"Mama, will the beach people not let us if we're late?" he asked as his silver eyes stared up at the ginger-haired woman.
She smiled and patted his head sweetly. "No, not at all! You don't need to worry about a thing, Sora!"
The small boy nodded as he giggled. When he saw his father walk out of the master bedroom, he rushed to his side. "Are you all ready now, Daddy? We need to go now!"
Ulquiorra stared down at his son and then at his wife who smiled. "You could have waited for me in the car."
His wife merely shrugged happily. "I thought it would be better if we waited for you here. Now we can all go to the car together."
He sighed, his palm pressing to his forehea
